Onsite Education

Onsite Education is a Taranaki family owned Private Training Establishment  with more than 20 years experience in the education sector delivering Agriculture and Horticulture programmes and formerly our Equine programme.

In 2015 we expanded the organisation to include a National Certificate in Fruit Production level 4 programme.

There are two main training sites with the Head Office located in New Plymouth and the other being in Hastings.

We currently provide a mix of a local and national certificates for approved and accredited Agriculture, Horticulture and Fruit Production programmes for qualifications at Levels 3 and 4 and carry accreditation to be able to deliver courses and programmes with credits up to level 7.

Learners come from varied backgrounds; from youth at risk and second chance learners, to the more mature student with no formal qualifications or those simply looking at changing careers.

We tailor our programmes to suit the learner to ensure that we are meeting their individual needs while achieving their life goals and also meeting our own goal focused outcomes.

The flexible mixed mode delivery of programmes include day and evening classes, theory and practical assessment with a unique delivery method for those who may have a learning disability and all within a fun, safe and family friendly learning environment.

We employ a great bunch of people that are commtted to reaching the potential in every learner, to help them acheive their goals. Our tutors understand the everyday challenges facing todays learners and that’s why we go that extra mile. We strongly believe that education not only provides opportunities, but changes lives and we see fantastic examples of this every day. Examples may simply be interacting with peers and assisting others to learn to achieve personal milestones such as animal handling skills, a drivers license, a certificate  or employment at the end of their programme.
